On the Golf Course

At First Tee, we believe in developing experiences that are just as fun as they are meaningful, where kids feel excited to grow, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way next. Our First Tee coaches seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum to create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience. As your child progresses through our programs, the activities and life lessons will help empower them to take on whatever comes their way next. At First Tee – Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky, we offer multi-week sessions in spring, summer and fall at a variety of area golf course teaching locations. We welcome all kids regardless of background or means. No previous golf experience is needed and we provide all equipment. Our chapter serves Hamilton, Clermont, Butler, and Warren counties in Ohio and Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Kentucky.

The Power of Relationships

At First Tee, we know success hinges on our Coaches and we’ve proved the best outcomes for kids happen when they can form meaningful, quality relationships with positive adult role models. All our classes are led by a Head Coach who is assisted by a team of volunteers, and typically also a golf professional best suited to teach swing mechanics. All of them are trained to understand First Tee coaching philosophy and the building blocks of our unique curriculum. To the kids, each of them is "Coach."

First Tee gave (my daughter) confidence and helped her learn how to set goals and dream big. She met great kids and coaches.  She always says it feels like home to her."  -- First Tee - GCNKY Parent
